Innovation Lab Director
Work Location: Newark, DE

We are seeking an Innovation Lab Director to lead R&D activities, drive innovation effort to develop new technologies, and collaborate across multi-functional teams.


Responsibilities
  1. Develop and establish innovation lab objectives and strategies

  2. Influence the broader organization by identifying, evaluating, and incorporating new technologies that will provide the most added value for client services and lab operations

  3. Collaborate with functional teams in a matrix environment to drive alignment between investment and research goals

  4. Manage and execute innovation projects with internal and external business partners to ensure timely delivery of milestones

  5. Develop assays in protein characterization, functional analysis and IVD; lead the research and development activities

  6. Perform complex experiments and analyze data using problem solving skills and statistical and scientific techniques

  7. Plan, coordinate, train and directs the tasks of research team members

  8. Write and review SOPs, technical protocols and reports

  9. Occasional travel to scientific conferences may be required


Qualifications
  1. Ph.D. in biological or biomedical discipline

  2. 10+ years of working experience in an innovative science and technology environment

  3. Proven ability to incubate technologies and deliver results

  4. Ability to establish SOPs and general knowledge of GLP and GMP guidelines

  5. Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral

  6. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

  7. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects around changing priorities

  8. Process orientation with impeccable attention to detail

  9. Passion to positively promote and drive success on company initiatives

Lab Technician

We are seeking a Lab Technician to support R&D activities and commercial assay development projects.


Responsibilities
  1. Adhere to established procedures and methodologies, e.g. ELISA, , Western blot, SPR and cell-based assays

  2. Record critical data and test results, perform data analysis as directed

  3. Assist supervisor in planning research protocols and procedures and summarizing analysis data

  4. Support supervisor, project leaders, and other professional staff with information exchange and clarification

  5. Manage inventory of reagents and supplies

  6. Maintain laboratory in a clean and functional state

  7. Schedule equipment maintenance as needed

  8. Perform other lab projects and duties assigned


Qualifications
  1. B.S. or M.S. in Biology, Microbiology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry, or related discipline

  2. Bioanalytical assay experience preferred

  3. MSD and cell culture experience preferred

  4. Ability to follow advanced laboratory instructions and safety requirements

  5. Ability to demonstrate excellent efficiency and time management skills

  6. Ability to communicate effectively and follow written and verbal instructions

Sales Representative
Work Location: Washington

ACROBiosystems is a worldwide leader in developing and manufacturing recombinant proteins. We are looking for a Sales Representative to support commercial activities in the Washington territory. In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining existing customers and pursuing new customers, as well as increasing customer base in the territory. You will also be extensively involved in building customer relationships and providing all-around support to our customers.


Responsibilities
  1. Conduct customer facing visits, presentations, phone calls and e-mails as appropriate.

  2. Extend and develop relationships with existing and potential customers.

  3. Provide technical support to customers.

  4. Collaborate with Customer Service, Product Development and Marketing teams.

  5. Attend tradeshows, association conferences, and networking events as necessary.

  6. Travel within the territory 40-50% of the time


Qualifications
  1. B.S. in biological or biomedical discipline required

  2. 0-2 years of sales experience in bioindustries

  3. Lab and/or bioindustry experience preferred

  4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Technical Sales Manager
Work Location: New England

We are looking for a Technical Sales Manager in the New England territory. In this position, you will be responsible for having a clear understanding of the components ofthe products and the ability to demonstrate how they work. To be a successful technical sales manager, you should be able to develop an excellent rapport with your existing customers and source new clients.


Responsibilities
  1. Establishing the technical needs of the customer and suggesting appropriate products.

  2. Explaining complex technical information to customers in a way that is easily understandable.

  3. Following up with customers and resolving any issues that may arise.

  4. Keeping customers informed about new technological products.

  5. Compiling proposals and reports related to technical products.

  6. Ensuring that sales targets are consistently met.

  7. Reporting to management about sales made.

Qualifications
  1. M.S. or PhD degree in biology, biomedical sciences, immunology, protein chemistry or related discipline required.
